Checking in with your partner throughout the day.

Checking in with your partner regularly can be a great way to maintain a strong, healthy relationship and ensure that both partners feel seen and heard. Here are some thoughtful ways to check in with your partner throughout the day:

  1. Send a text message: A quick text message can be a great way to let your partner know that you're thinking of them and checking in. You could ask how their day is going, share something interesting or funny that you saw, or just send a cute emoji.

  2. Give a call: A phone call can be a more personal and intimate way to check in with your partner. Take a few minutes to chat about your day and catch up on what's going on in each other's lives.

  3. Make a video call: If you're both busy, a video call can be a great way to have a face-to-face conversation even when you're apart. You can talk about your day, catch up on what's going on in each other's lives, and see each other's reactions in real-time.

  4. Ask open-ended questions: When checking in with your partner, try to ask open-ended questions that allow them to share as much or as little as they want. This can help them feel heard and appreciated, and can also give you a better understanding of what's going on in their life.

  5. Show appreciation: Take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate something that your partner has done or is doing. This can be a great way to boost their mood and make them feel valued and loved.

Checking in with your partner regularly can help you maintain a strong, healthy relationship and ensure that both partners feel seen and heard. It can also help you stay connected and in tune with each other, even when life gets busy.
